The U.S. Supreme Courtroom has rejected an emergency request to halt Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. The frivolous lawsuit was filed by a bunch of “players,” who determined to go all the best way to the highest courtroom regardless of all the percentages stacked in opposition to them.
Lawmakers urge FTC to drop Microsoft-Activision matter
The players’ lawsuit met its finish on Tuesday when Justice Elena Kagan denied their request to dam the deal. In the meantime, a bunch of lawmakers have written to the Federal Commerce Fee chair Lina Khan, urging her to drop the matter solely. Regardless of having its request for a preliminary injunction denied, the FTC can proceed to analyze the deal, in search of authorized recourse later. The FTC has not responded or detailed its subsequent steps.
